Exercises for Clean High Notes by Dante Vargas
High notes are every beginning trumpeter's dream. It isn't about reaching the highest notes possible, but about achieving real tonal quality. Every high note you manage to hit should have a clean, clear sound. Dante Vargas, a Peruvian trumpet player, recommends a series of exercises to help you produce clean high notes through staccato practice.
